About Us

Built for Our Family. Yours Might Love It Too.

Our Little Book is a family studio. We make personalized, illustrated hardcover storybooks: real stories, drawn from real moments, about the people who matter to your family. We made the first one for our own kids.

Why We Make These

Most personalized books just swap a name into a template. We never thought that was enough for our own kids. The people you love are specific: the way a grandmother says your name, the bread she taught you to knead, the drive you always take together. Those details are the whole point, and they deserve a book made to hold them.

So we built something closer to a small publishing house. You describe the family and the moments worth keeping. We write the stories and illustrate every page, with characters drawn just for your family, and bind it into a keepsake hardcover meant to be kept for years.

The studio runs on tools we built ourselves: Quill and Ink, our two engines, and Paper, our editor. Quill writes and paints every page from the characters and moments you give us. Ink listens when you want a page different, and redraws just that one. Paper is where you read the finished book and reach for Ink. The engines paint in soft watercolor today, with other styles on the way.

What Goes Into a Book

Consistent characters

Every character gets a reference illustration you approve. That same face then appears on every page of every story, so the cast never drifts.

A collection of stories

Not one thin tale. Several short stories in one bound book, each a small moment from real life, with an opening note and a quiet closing.

Hard moments, handled with care

A move, a new sibling, a goodbye. When a book needs to hold something tender, we sit with the feeling instead of rushing past it.

As involved as you want to be

Give us a single sentence, or shape the settings, the scenes, and the details yourself. The book bends to how much you want to steer.

Make One for Your Family
