What Our Little Book is

Our Little Book is a service that helps you make personalized, illustrated storybooks. You create characters and share a few story ideas, and the service writes and illustrates a keepsake collection of stories built around them. A hardcover book may be offered as an optional add-on.

Your account

You need a free account to use the service, and you must be an adult to create one. Please give accurate information and keep your sign-in details safe. You’re responsible for what happens under your account.

The details you give us

To make a book, you give us details: character names and descriptions, story ideas, and the moments you’d like the book to hold. You confirm that you have the right to use those details and to create a book that features the people, pets, and moments you describe.

You keep ownership of the details you provide. You give us permission to use them for the purpose of creating, generating, and delivering your book, and to operate and improve the service.

How books are created

Books are written and illustrated with the help of AI tools. You approve each character’s art before any story is written, and you can review and edit the finished pages. Because the work is generated, results vary, and we can’t promise a particular outcome. We’re always glad to help you get a book you love.

You are the author of your book

Our Little Book is a tool and a studio that helps you make something. You are the author. You decide what’s right for your family and the people in your book, you review the result, and you have the final say on the finished product. That responsibility, and that authority, rests with you.

Your finished book is yours

When your book is finished, the digital file is yours to keep and to use for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. Printing and binding a hardcover through us is optional and never required.

Using the service fairly

Please don’t use Our Little Book to create content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, deceptive, or that infringes someone else’s rights, and don’t depict real people in ways that would harm or mislead. Please don’t attempt to disrupt, misuse, or gain improper access to the service. We may suspend or close an account that does.

Our intellectual property

The Our Little Book name, brand, website, and software belong to us. These terms don’t give you any right to them beyond using the service as intended. Your rights to your own finished book are described above.

The Ever After subscription

The Ever After plan is a month-to-month subscription for digital books. While it’s active, you can make up to three books a month, each a full 25-page story. The three reset on the first of each month and don’t roll over. Billing follows the books, not the calendar: joining partway through a month is prorated, and if you cancel while books are still unused, you’re prorated for the ones you haven’t made. Once you’ve made all three for the month, that month is paid in full and the cancellation takes effect at the next reset. The digital books you’ve already made always stay yours. Printing a hardcover book is a separate fee. Our Little Book may pause, change, or end the Ever After plan at any time.

Printing and orders

Printing a hardcover is an optional add-on. Listed prices don’t include tax or shipping; those are added at checkout and are the buyer’s responsibility. When printed books are offered, the price, delivery, and order terms will be shown to you clearly before you buy.

Availability, disclaimers, and liability

The service is provided as is. We may change, pause, or stop parts of it, and it may occasionally be unavailable. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we make no warranties beyond those required by law, and our liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for it.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service grows. When we do, we’ll change the date at the top of this page. If you keep using Our Little Book after a change, you’re accepting the updated terms.
