What is Our Little Book?
Our Little Book makes personalized, illustrated children’s storybooks. You create the characters, the people and pets you love, and we write and illustrate a keepsake hardcover collection of stories built around them.
How does it work?
You walk a short, guided setup: tell us who the book is for, build and approve the characters, and share a few story ideas. Then the book is written and illustrated for you, usually within minutes.
How long does it take?
The writing and illustrating happen within minutes, and you can watch it happen on screen. Setting up the details beforehand takes a few minutes of your time.
Can the characters be pets or animals?
Yes. People, pets, a beloved stuffed animal, even a mythical creature can all be characters. You describe each one and approve its art before any story is written.
How are the illustrations made?
Each character gets a reference illustration that you approve. That same character then appears consistently on every page, so the cast looks the same throughout the book.
Do I own the book, and can I print it myself?
Yes. The moment your book is finished, the file is yours to keep. Printing and binding a hardcover through us is optional, never required. We’d love to print yours, but you’re free to keep the file and do your own thing with it.
Who is a book for?
Any age. A grandparent, a new baby, a child, a sibling. Each book is a gift built around a specific person and the characters in their world.
How involved do I get to be?
As involved as you like. You can give a single sentence per story, or shape the settings, the scenes, and the details yourself. The book bends to how much you want to steer it.
Do I need an account?
Yes, a free account, so your book is saved as you go and you can return to finish it whenever you like.

Still Curious?

The best way to see what a book becomes is to start one. Your progress saves as you go, so you can shape it whenever you have a minute.
